Course work: Did six two-minute figure sketches, none very satisfactory, and most not completed before time ran out. Pentimenti are abundant. Working to a larger scale (one or two per sketchbook page) seems easier than the three per page I tried on 5 July.

Personal sketchbook work: A sketch of a box turtle shell. I’ve done this before, but I think today’s effort is more satisfactory.
Other activity: Watched a tape, Anatomy for Artists: The Human Form Revealed, produced by On Air Video, Elkins Park, Pennsylvania, USA, 2003. (I thought that the information in this tape was fairly superficial, but it would probably be of use to someone without previous training in anatomy.)
