Course work: Started with four 30-second gesture sketches, all disappointing.
Then, as an experiment, I borrowed an idea from Option Three and attempted a torn-paper collage. I proved to be neither a neat paper-tearer nor a tidy applier of glue, and wonder if the major benefit of the exercise so far has been the destruction and discarding of several old catalogs and magazines.
