Course work: Watched a tape entitled Contour (Ruth Block, Artists InterActive Video Productions, Berkeley, California, 1990), in preparation for the upcoming course work. This included nine exercises, which I did on scrap paper and subsequently discarded. My attempt at the first exercise (which allowed visual relocation of the pen when one reached the logical end of a line) is shown here:
